I went to work for Dow in Freeport  in 1953 in the Purchasing Department. I transferred to E&CS in Houston in 1967 as a Project Buyer. I was sent to England during the engineering work on a Korean project. When my assignment was completed I was tranferred to the Netherlands where I worked as a Project Buyer for one year and then returned to E&CS in Houston. I retired from Dow in 1985.
